What areas does SRW Autos & Recovery cover?
We are based in Hereford and cover the whole of Herefordshire as standard, including Leominster, Ross-on-Wye, Ledbury, Bromyard and the M50 motorway. We routinely take recoveries nationwide for fleet and private customers.
Are you available 24 hours a day?
Yes. Our control desk and recovery operators are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year — including Christmas Day and bank holidays.
How much does a recovery cost?
Cost depends on vehicle type, location and destination. We provide a clear fixed price before dispatch so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Do you accept card payment at the roadside?
Yes. We accept all major debit and credit cards via secure mobile terminals, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
What types of vehicle can you recover?
Cars, vans, motorcycles, light commercials and 4x4s. We have flatbed, tilt-and-slide, winch and under-lift equipment in the fleet.
Are you insured?
Yes — we hold full public liability, motor trade road risks and goods-in-transit insurance, and our operators are DVSA-compliant.
Do you work with insurance companies and breakdown clubs?
Yes. We work with major UK insurers, accident-management companies and several national breakdown networks.
Can you recover electric vehicles?
Yes. EVs and hybrids must be transported on a flatbed to avoid driveline damage — exactly the equipment we deploy by default.
